Privacy policy

Short version: Swiss Racing does not collect any data behind your back. No tracking cookies, no ads, no resale, no profiling. If you write to us through the contact form, your details are only used to reply to you.

1. Who runs this site

This site is operated by Swiss Racing, a Swiss association under Articles 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code. Contact details at the bottom of this page and in the legal notice.

2. What data is collected

No automatic data collection. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising tracker, no browser fingerprinting. The server only retains the standard technical logs from Infomaniak (connection IP, time, requested resource) required for security and operation, automatically purged by the host.

When you send us a message via the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address and message content. This information stays with us.

3. What this data is used for

Replying to your request (ride, membership, question)
Maintaining the membership register if you join
Letting you know about upcoming rides (only if you ask)

No data is shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

4. How long we keep it

Contact form messages: maximum 1 year after the last exchange, then deletion.
Association member register: as long as you are a member, plus 2 years after you leave for accounting obligations.

5. Cookies

The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Depending on your browser, a technical cookie may be set to remember your language or whether sound is enabled on the homepage. These cookies disappear when you close your browser and are never read by third parties.

6. Your rights (Swiss FADP / nFADP)

Under Swiss data protection law (nFADP), you can at any time request: access to the data we hold about you, correction, deletion, or withdraw your consent.

7. Hosting

The site is hosted on the servers of Infomaniak Network SA, in Geneva (Switzerland). Infomaniak is bound by Swiss law and applies its own security and data protection measures.

8. Security

The site is fully served over HTTPS. No payment data and no sensitive information are collected.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated if the way the site works changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
